My first project for Design 16: Graphic Design and Computer Technology. The goal of this project is to show proficiency in drawing skills and knowledge of color schemes learned using Adobe Illustrator through designing an original interior scene. 

Inspiration behind the project: I wanted to design a bathroom inspired by old Hollywood circa 1920's. I encompassed this vintage aesthetic with a grand clawfoot tub, antique wooden vanity, tiffany-inspired lamp pendants, Spanish tiles, and a custom wallpaper inspired by traditional Hungarian embroidery. Through the smaller details: a soap dispenser, folded towels, and various toiletries, the space feels lived in and cozy. 

The challenges I faced throughout this project were getting used to the Illustrator tools and trying out some more advanced tools to achieve the effects I wanted. I played around with the perspective grid to achieve an accurate perspective throughout the wallpaper pattern and the floor tiles. I made the wallpaper pattern and floor tiles by using the grid feature and then expanding that grid to then project it onto the perspective grid.
